I love that desk, showed the desk to my 18yr old progeny and I was happy that modern eyes loved it also. Please tell me the name and creator of that print above the desk or is that an actual
Ah that library sounds kind of like my own. It's "organized" by the organizational strategy I decided on when I got to that point in the shelving. It starts by subject, so there are about a dozen math textbooks in the top left, then it switches to author, and a bunch of Brandon Sanderson books follow. Then genre, so there's a mix of sci-fi. There's a whole section that is just "books I acquired at the time" in roughly the order I got them, etc. There are also sections organized by size, color, publication date, and things I had to read in high school.
I do know where everything is, but I wouldn't dare try to make a road map for anyone else. Maybe one day I'll look up the dewey decimal numbers for all of them and reorganize accordingly.
After careful study of the work area, I've concluded y'all really know how to party.
Not a stick chair for the desk? I'm shocked!
All you seem to be missing are business cards and a little wooden card holder.

?engraving?
It's an original drawing by Daniel Martin Diaz, the most expensive piece of original art I've ever purchased.

Ooh! Just coming here to ask about that after failing to google it by description and guessing at the title, and also assuming it was much older.
At least yours is organized. I’d be embarrassed to show you mine.
